Who this covers

BaconRadar is the responsible party for information collected through this website and beta waitlist. This notice covers the marketing site and waitlist. We will provide updated privacy information before beta access requires an account, provider connection or additional personal information.

What the waitlist collects

To join, you provide an email address and what brought you here. We also record your consent acknowledgement and any plan interest, campaign tags, referring page or landing page attached to your signup.

When you arrive through a tagged campaign link, we keep that campaign context in first-party session storage so it can follow your journey from the landing page to the waitlist form. It lasts for the browser session and does not load an analytics provider.

Your email and that one answer are mandatory for joining. The form cannot be submitted without them. You do not need to provide a name, product links, credentials, payment details or private customer data.

Our hosting and form-delivery providers may also receive technical information such as your IP address, browser or device type, request time, referring page and requested page. They use this information to deliver and secure their services.

Sales exports for free reports

After you join the beta waitlist, we may email you about a free sales report. If you want one, you reply with a sales export from your checkout platform. We only need product names, dates, units sold and amounts. Please remove buyer names, email addresses and other customer details before sending if your platform includes them.

We use the export only to make your report and to reply to you about it. We do not share it, sell it or use it for advertising. We delete the file and any working copies after we send your report, unless you ask us to keep it for a follow-up report. The email you sent stays in our inbox until you ask us to delete it.

Why and how we use it

We use waitlist information to provide the waitlist you requested, understand aggregate demand, improve beta priorities, prevent duplicate or abusive submissions, send relevant updates and email your beta access when it is ready. We may ask an optional research question. You never have to reply to keep your access.

We rely on your consent for waitlist communications and optional site measurement. We also process limited information where necessary to provide the waitlist, secure the website, prevent abuse, comply with legal duties and pursue our legitimate interest in understanding aggregate demand.

Form delivery and service providers

The website is configured for hosting through Railway. Waitlist submissions are processed and stored in our Formspree account and may be delivered to our waitlist inbox. Our hosting, form-delivery and email providers process information only as needed to provide, secure and communicate about the waitlist.

Railway, Formspree, Google and Meta may process information outside South Africa, including in the United States. Where required, we rely on provider agreements, provider safeguards, your consent or another transfer mechanism permitted by applicable law.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not send waitlist email addresses or form answers to Google Analytics or Meta Pixel.

Optional site measurement

Optional measurement is off until you choose. You can allow both services, allow Google Analytics only, or reject both.

• Google Analytics 4 helps us understand visits, pages, approximate region, browser and device type, CTA clicks and waitlist funnel events. It may use a first-party identifier such as the _ga cookie. Google Signals and ad-personalization signals are disabled in our site configuration. See how Google uses information from sites.
• Meta Pixel helps us measure whether Meta ads lead to page visits and waitlist signups. It may process page, browser, device, cookie and similar identifiers and may associate activity with Meta services under Meta's Privacy Policy.

When a signup succeeds, these services may receive a waitlist conversion event together with limited campaign attribution such as campaign source and campaign name. They do not receive your email address, selling surfaces, link-count answer or reason for joining.

If you reject optional measurement, those provider scripts remain unloaded. We store your choice in local browser storage so the site can remember it. Withdrawing measurement affects future measurement in that browser and does not automatically erase information a provider already received.

Retention and security

We keep waitlist information only while it is useful for the waitlist, beta invitation and related records. We review it at least annually and delete it when that purpose ends, when the project is discontinued, or sooner when you make a valid deletion request, unless the law requires retention.

Hosting logs and optional measurement data are retained according to our account settings and the applicable provider policies. We review those settings at least annually and keep them no longer than reasonably necessary for security and aggregate measurement.

We use reasonable access controls and service-provider safeguards. No internet service can promise perfect security, so please do not send credentials, private customer information or sensitive personal information through the waitlist form.

Your choices and rights

You may ask whether we hold your personal information and request access, correction or deletion. You may also withdraw email or measurement consent, object to direct marketing and lodge a complaint with an applicable privacy authority.

Use the unsubscribe option in an email when available, withdraw optional measurement below, or contact us. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that was lawful before withdrawal or information we must retain by law.

Children

The waitlist is intended for adults selling or managing digital products. Do not join if you are under 18. If we learn that we collected a child's information without valid authorization, we will delete it.

Before beta monitoring

We will provide updated product privacy information and beta service terms before asking you to create an account, connect a provider or start monitoring. Joining the waitlist does not begin monitoring or billing.

Changes to this notice

We may update this notice as the waitlist, providers or legal requirements change. The date above shows the latest version. If a material change affects existing waitlist members, we may also notify them by email.
